One of Hollywood’s cutest couples — Twilight‘s Peter Facinelli and his wife, 90210 alum Jennie Garth — were photographed Tuesday in Beverly Hills at the trendy clothing store, Lacoste (you know, the one with the famous alligator logo).

Facinelli looked boyishly-handsome in his paperboy cap, Western-style shirt and designer jeans while Garth bundled up from the chilly Southern California night in a black and white, horizontally-striped sweater and dark blue jeans.

Facinelli reprises his role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight Saga, which hits theaters June 30.

The Facinelli Christmas Glow

Posted in New Moon with tags , on December 25, 2009 by chasingcullens

On Christmas morning Peter Facinelli and his wife, Jennie Garth, look forward to the moment when their three daughters burst through their bedroom door around 7 a.m., crawl across the covers and announce it’s present time.

“They try to let us sleep in, but they’re so excited they can’t wait,” says Jennie. “They look so innocent, excited and full of expectation.” Adds Peter of the girls’ pure joy: “Their faces are lit up like no other time of year.”

Call it the Facinelli Christmas Glow — which sparks from a love for the holidays that they couple have handed down to their daughters Luca Bella, 12, Lola Ray, 7, and Fiona Eve, 3. “Holidays were always important to my family,” says Peter, 36, who wants to pass down the same lesson that he learned from his Italian immigrant parents about the Christmas season. “It’s about being together and celebrating.”

Lately quality time for the Facinelli Five has been fleeting: The New Moon actor spent this past fall shuttling between the Vancouver set of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse — the third chapter of the wildly popular vampire series, due out next summer — and New York City, where he films his hit TV drama Nurse Jackie opposite Edie Falco.

In the meantime, Jennie, 37, has been holding down the fort at their L.A. home, juggling their daughters’ car-pool schedules and her gig on the CW’s 90210. But this year the holidays have reunited the entire clan in their own L.A. zip code, where Peter’s main focus is recruiting his daughters to help outfit their colonial-style home with decorations ranging from Santa pillows to singing Christmas trees.

“I want to make sure I’m there with my kids,” says Peter. “They grow up quickly, and I want them to really experience each holiday. So we make sure every one of them is filled with joy and love.”

And plenty of fun. As soon as his daughters open their eyes on Christmas morning, each discovers a new snow globe awaiting them. “Santa leaves them in their room by their heads,” says Jennie.

PFach & Jennie Garth Wants A Boy

Calling husband Peter Facinelli a “very hands-on” dad, actress Jennie Garth counts her blessings, telling OK! “he’s just a rare find, so I’m really, really lucky.”

Peter speaks of Jennie in equally glowing terms, crediting his wife of almost nine years with teaching him patience, something which comes in handy while raising Luca Bella, 12, Lola Ray, 7, and Fiona Eve, 3. “I’m in a house full of women,” he notes.

“To be in a house full of women — I have three daughters, and I’m surrounded by women — you need a lot of patience, I think. Maybe that’s my lesson in life — to learn patience.”

When the girl power is too much, even for Peter, Jennie says she’s often alerted by the sound of a motorcycle revving. “I’ll know he’s had enough estrogen for one day and he’s gotta get out of the house,” she explains. “There’s a lot of hormones going on right now in my house.”

As for whether or not the couple will someday up the testosterone quotient, Jennie remains conflicted. “I want a boy every day,” she admits. “Yes I do. I love them.” At the same time, the 37-year-old 90210 star acknowledges that she has been “so fortunate” with their daughters, she’s hesitant to “push that envelope.”

“You think, ‘I have three healthy, great kids, and I’m so lucky’ that I would be scared to have more. But I would be willing to take the risk. I do want a boy.”

Jennie Garth Excited For NM

Jennie Garth is almost as excited as you are for the New Moon premiere on Monday, but not because she’s dying to see if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrive arm in arm.

“I’m just excited to be there and support my husband,” the 90210 star tells E! News exclusively of her spouse, Peter Facinelli. “He’s like the perfect Dr. Carlisle [Cullen]. I’m such a fan of the book and of the movie that I really can’t picture anyone else playing Dr. Carlisle, so I’m very happy to be there on his arm. It’s not about me—I’ll just be arm candy that night.

“That red carpet last year was pretty intense. I’m sure it’s going to be even worse this year,” she says. “Maybe I’ll just stay back and let him do it. I’ll wait in the car.”

As for how she keeps her gorgeous family, including Peter and their three daughters, balanced, let’s just say Garth has some tricks up her sleeve…

Garth swears that just because we don’t get a play-by-play of her marriage of more than eight years in the tabloids, there’s still plenty of action.

“We have plenty of drama. You just don’t hear about it,” she confesses. “But I think every couple does. If you don’t have drama, I think you must be a robot.”

It’s all about maintaining priorities, says the 37-year-old actress.

“We just try to stay real as a family, as we were both brought up, and not let it ever go further than that,” she admits.

Part of that is simply being active with her kids, supporting them and guiding by example, and knowing that sometimes a creative game can make the most mundane task fun for the whole family.

“Every morning, I pull teeth to get them to brush their teeth,” says Garth, who is working with Trident and Smiles Across America, which brings dental health care to underserved kids.

“As a parent, it’s challenging to take care of your kids on every level, and this is just one of the many, many things that we have to be really diligent about as parents…

“I do something with my littler ones. We hide a little toy in their mouth, but it’s not really even in their mouth. I tell them that there’s something hiding in their mouth, and I hide it behind their head and so once they brush their teeth trying to get the little animal out, then they spit, and when they spit into the sink, I drop it into the sink and then they think that they’ve rescued the animal out of their mouth. They love it. It works!”

Pacific Coast News

Our very favorite Twilight family guy, Peter Facinelli, his actress wife Jennie Garth and their two older girls Luca and Lola took a Halloween bike ride around their neighborhood Saturday.

They had lunch at a Bob’s Big Boy, tried their luck at a Halloween maze and stopped to admire decorations at some of the nearby homes.

Peter, who is in all the Twilight films, never misses his daughters’ soccer games when he’s home in L.A.
