Kellan says Robsten made Twilight a success.

Kellan spoke to “The Dish Rag” . He spoke about “Breaking Dawn” being spilt into 2 movies and said “I have read that they are talking to Rob, Taylor and Kristen to negotiate to make ‘Dawn’ into two movies. I’d love for it to be two films,” he added.

He also answered a question about the rumour going around about a “Twilight” Tv Series, “I just heard that too. I don’t know how. You already have the books and the story’s been told so beautifully. And there’s already ‘True Blood’ and ‘Vampire Diaries,’ and they’re both great. I don’t know how it would work. Twenty two episodes?

He knows that some people are waiting years to have the success that the “Twilight” stars have and said “People work 20 years to get what we have,” Kellan admits. “We really are so lucky. Its like you get a headstart and its all because of the fans. And it’s not just about money or getting offers, it’s that we can mold our careers.”

And on attributing “Twilight” franchise success to Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
“The rest of us, we could suck probably,” Kellan says. “It’s Rob and Kristen who have the amazing chemistry. Without those two keystones, “Twilight” could have flopped. It really could have.”

Rob standing by his co-stars for negotiations?

Much as the success of the “Harry Potter” film franchise turned the once-unknown Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint into internationally famous and extremely wealthy movie stars, a similar route to lifelong financial security is clearly in the cards for “Twilight”/”New Moon” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

As the trio approaches negotiations for what may be two films based on the Breaking Dawn novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s vampire saga, word has it Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner are joining forces to negotiate as a team. The story is reminiscent of the approach taken by “Friends” stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc — who famously stuck together for all of their contract negotiations in that hit TV series’ long run.

Though nothing is yet on paper, there is word the huge box-office hauls of both “Twilight” and “New Moon” — and the likely success of “Eclipse,” already shot and due in June — has the three actors likely to be able to demand paychecks well into eight figures for the next two films.(Gozde: I hope this is true I always thought it showed the true character and friendship of the Friends’ actors. Some were more famous than the others but they always stuck together and got what they wanted. Power to the people! :))

• By the way, a good source close to Pattinson and Lautner tells me the two young actors are “very amused” by all the stories flying around the blogosphere about an alleged big “feud” between the co-stars. While the two men couldn’t be more different in real life, the Summit Entertainment insider says their relationship is truly a case of “opposites attract” and the two actors actually are extremely good friends. (Gozde: On another note if Rob makes 8 figures we’ll remind him of his promise to “walk around naked :))

Robsten ‘on board’ for Breaking Dawn?

Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart

Variety reported last night that Summit was tempted to go the “two-film route” when deciding how to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen.

Uh, darlings, such old news, really. Summit is more than tempted. Making B.D. two movies is the game plan as of now.

The fourth flick has been in the works for a while. After ensuring that the main cast would be back for Twilight 4, Summit asked Melissa Rosenberg to pen the script for B.D. in September, to which she obviously agreed.

Once execs realized Twilight fever wasn’t dying down anytime soon, they decided to swipe a move from Harry Potter: Why Not Make It Two Scripts? It’s an idea that’s been going back and forth over at Summit for a while.

So will the suits ever officially announce this so we can stop having to reassure all you Twi lovers that Robsten will be in it for the long haul—onscreen, too?

Says Deep Twi

“Nothing official yet, but knowing Summit [the announcement] will be soon with the giant success of New Moon. Why would they not stretch it out and make as much money as possible from this franchise?”

As to Robsten’s future in all this?

“They are so on board, still,” promises another member of Team Deep Twi. “But the money has to be right. If it is, it’ll happen—especially now that [Rob and Kristen] are learning better how to handle the press.”

Uh, not sure I agree with that last statement. As it’s the press who seem to be learning how better to handle Robsten, if you ask us.

Even though the main Twilight players only agreed to a fourth movie, they will be down for a fifth. Not just because Summit basically owns their asses and they wouldn’t totally have a choice, but because it’s pretty much guaranteed Robert, Kristen and Taylor Lautner will be getting a big pay raise.

Like one of our Summit insiders told us a while back, they just tell Robsten & Co. to count their millions when they get fame frustrated.

Getting New Moon director Chris Weitz back would probably be the biggest obstacle. Remember, Summit and the cast l-o-v-e-d him, and they all want him to direct again. Chris told us he’d be stupid not to do Breaking Dawn(s), but he wants to take a break from directing for a bit, and Summit wants to peddle these bad boys out as fast as possible ’cause the cast can’t keep their fangs off each other.

So what do you think—good news that Rob and Kristen would be contractually bound for a few more years together? Now you can see why Summit was wary at first of their leads shacking up together. Good thing Robsten is doing better than fine! Happy stars mean more money…for everyone.

Especially the paps.

Suit against Queen Steph dropped!

A judge of the United States District Court has dismissed author Jordan Scott’s claim that Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer plagiarized small portions of her fourth book, Breaking Dawn, from Scott’s vampire novel The Nocturne. In a statement, Meyer’s publisher, Hachette Book Group, says, “In his ruling, [Judge Otis D. Wright II] stated that the two works have little in common and that the ‘characters in the two works are vastly different.’ The decision admonishes Scott for ‘the deceptive presentation of the alleged similarities’ and notes that she ‘has twice manipulated aspects of the subject works in order to create the appearance of similarity.’ While an attempt to ride on someone else’s success may not be surprising, it is encouraging that the courts and the public are not so easily misled. This judgment confirms what we have known all along — Breaking Dawn is a wholly original work by Stephenie Meyer and this was a frivolous lawsuit brought for the purposes of publicizing the plaintiff’s personal publishing aspirations. Hachette Book Group and Stephenie Meyer are pleased to be able to put this case behind us.”

J. Craig Williams, a lawyer for Scott, says his client isn’t prepared to close the book on her claim: “Courts serve the function of resolving disputes between people who disagree over issues such as copyright infringement. We are pleased that the judge very carefully made a side-by-side comparison of The Nocturne and Breaking Dawn and issued a considered opinion regarding his decision. At this point, Jordan Scott is studying her options regarding continued prosecution of her case against Stephanie Meyer.”

Ashley wants Tim Burton to direct BD.

Ashley Greene says she would like to see Tim Burton direct the final part of The Twilight Saga.

Breaking Dawn, which is the fourth installment of the vampire franchise, is due to go into production next year.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, said she would be interested to see how Burton would interpret the script.

“I think it’d be really cool to have his spin on it, because it’s a very odd book, there’s some very weird moments,” she said.

“He would actually put a really weird and cool twist on it.”

Greene also suggested that Breaking Dawn could be split in two films – extending the franchise into a five-part saga.

“You definitely want to get all the important parts in there and you know how hardcore and passionate the fans are about it, so one might be difficult and there would be something left out,” she said.

“So if we could do it right, it’d be great to have two films.”

The Twilight Saga: New Moon was released earlier this month and is currently number one on the US box office.

Filming on the third part of the saga, Eclipse, has already been completed.

Bella cheats on Edward, bones Jacob! Go Jacward!

We love us some Twilight, but even more we love us some Twilight spoofs!

Taylor Swift was too funny with Firelight when she hosted Saturday Night Live, but this Breaking Dawn “scene” with Peter Facinelli (aka Dr. Cullen) might be one of our favorites!

Check out the hilarious Attack of the Show clip above, where Peter gives you a preview of when Bella gives birth in Breaking Dawn.

Hey, it’s about time Bella gets hers! Seriously, we know Kristen Stewart may not be experiencing lack of action with lovah Robert Pattinson, but poor Bella keeps getting the shaft in these prissy books! (Or rather not the shaft.)

When we talked with Peter back at the New Moon premiere, he told us he lives for this kind of stuff…

Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli

We were giving Peter a hard time about joshing all the Robsten lovers when he twittered that hand-holding pic with Kellan Lutz.

“I like making people laugh,” Facinelli told us. “I like when people smile. When people smile it makes me happy. I like to have a good time, Kellan likes to have a good time, too. He’s really fun. That’s why we’re so compatible.”

Oh, and for the record: “I wasn’t talking about Rob and Kristen at all,” P.F. said of the hand-holding twitpic. “I was talking about me and Kellan.”

We’re glad Peter sees the humor in all of this Twilight stuff. He’s grateful, yes, but how many stars do you know who would take time out of their promotion schedule to swing by G4 and poke fun at themselves?

So, what do you think—is this spoof better than the real thing?
