RobKristenJFK-Front“Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrived in New York City — together — today (Feb. 27) after an overnight flight from London. Rob is gearing up for a round of media interviews to promote “Remember Me” with Emilie de Ravin.

Kristen tagged along! Hey! Is she jealous of Emlie?

The Twilight duo appear to be growing more comfortable being seen together in public, although they weren’t traveling alone.

In the rush to get out of JFK airport, there also were no signs of affection. But they seemed to manage to dodge big crowds.

Rob reportedly confirmed to reporters Feb. 21, that they are dating, but they seem to be wary of showing too much affection in public.

Traveling with them was Rob’s longtime pal, actor Tom Sturridge, and it looked like a couple of beefy security guards were waiting for them.

Rob was wearing a dark knit cap and his trademark hoodie with a brown carry-on bag over his shoulder.

Kristen looked low-key and tousled, Her hoodie slipped off and she looked animated, if tired.

While in London, Rob and Kristen were spotted together on at least two occasions. They showed up at a small London club Feb. 24 to watch Rob’s sister Lizzy perform.

That sighting came after British Conservative party councillor Nicolas Clark said yesterday (Feb. 25) he saw Rob and Kristen kissing in at the Marquis of Granby pub.

“In Marquis of Granby (pub ) with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart! A couple of kisses – left in separate cars,” Clark twittered.

Rob’s older sister (he has two) opened the show for Starsailor frontman James Walsh who was performing a solo set. Walsh confirmed that Rob and Kristen made the show.

“Robert and Kristen were there to support Lizzy as she took the stage. I was very flattered to learn they stuck around for my set too,” he said.

Rob will be making several television appearances on New York City talk shows to promote “Remember Me” with Emilie de Ravin.

Pattinson is expected to appear on the “Today” show and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on March 1, and then follow up on ABC’s “The View” and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” on March 2nd.

Originally signed to headline both movies, the ‘Twilight Saga’ hunk reportedly becomes increasingly convinced that Hasbro was doing a better job with its feature adaptation than Mattel.

Barely three months since he was announced as the leading man of Mattel’s ““, has been reported to have backed out from his involvement in the feature adaptation. New York magazine’s Vulture blog reported that the reason behind his exit was due to his feature project for Hasbro, ““.

On the reason why the 18-year-old opted to focus more on “Armstrong”, the Vulture pointed out that he “became increasingly convinced that Hasbro was playing its hand better than Mattel” in the weeks after being booked on to portray Max Steel. An insider added, “When you sign up to make a movie with Hasbro, you know it will be in theaters a year later.”

News of Lautner dropping out from “Steel” came out just days after he bowed out another feature film, ““. The Jacob Black of the “Twilight Saga” series was reported pulling out of the fighter pilot drama over “casting issues”. Words are, his representatives were seeking to “put the best actors and directors around him.”

Although he has withdrawn himself from two movie projects, Taylor Lautner still has a lot under his belt. The “actor has been set to take on the lead role of Summit Entertainment’s“, and has signed on to star in Lionsgate Films’ ““. His third “Twilight” movie, ““, will hit U.S. theaters on June 30.

“Stretch Armstrong” itself is a 3-D superhero adventure based on Hasbro’s iconic action figure made popular in the 1970s. “” writer Steve Oedekerk provided the screenplay. Producer Brian Grazer will team up with Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Bennet Schneir as producers. It is expected to hit theaters across the U.S. in 2012.

Michael Sheen Would Love To Return To Planet Twilight

Michael Sheen started 2009 as a werewolf, in the Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, and ended it as a vampire in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. You’d be forgiven if you missed his other film when it was released in theaters. The Damned United, a biopic about infamous British soccer (aka football) coach Brian Clough, certainly doesn’t co-star Robert Pattinson. But the film, out this week on DVD, is a true gem, a sports film that’s not really like any other sports film you’ve ever seen.

United is written by Peter Morgan, the scribe who also helped Sheen become Tony Blair in The Queen and David Frost in Frost/Nixon. (The pair also worked together on an earlier Blair film for the BBC, The Deal; later this year brings a third installment, The Special Relationship.Trilogy alert!) Like those earlier films, The Damned United meshes a fascinating sliver of history with a deft character study. Clough is a brilliant strategist and a plucky underdog, but he’s also a self-imploding narcissist and a glamour hound. It’s a tricky performance to pull off, but Sheen makes you adore Clough even after you realize just how completely he’s destroying himself.

Sheen talked to about The Damned United, why playing real people isn’t too different from playing vampires, and the secret ingredient for making Volturi leader Aro scary (hint: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.) For historical accuracy and because it sounds cooler, “soccer” will be referred to as “football” throughout this Q&A.

Are you excited to return to planet Twilight for Breaking Dawn?
I am! The whole Twilight juggernaut has been focusing on Eclipse for awhile, which I’m not in. They haven’t turned their attention to Breaking Dawn yet. But I’m looking forward to donning the red contacts again.
